 Success for Gao Ning against China’s Ma Lin, in round one of the Men’s Singles event at the ITTF Pro Tour Grand Finals in London’s ExCel Arena, was followed by a second outstanding victory for the Singaporean.
At the quarter-final stage of proceedings on Saturday 26th November 2011 he ended the hopes of Korea’s Ryu Seung Min.

 Great Britain suffered defeat by three matches to one in both contests against the World All Stars Team, staged at the ExCel Arena in London on Friday 25th November 2011.
In the Men’s Team event Liam Pitchford, Paul Drinkhall and Andrew Baggaley suffered against the Czech Republic´s Tomas Tregler, Egypt’s Omar Assar and Korea’s Lee Sang Su; whilst for the women’s team of Joanna Parker, Kelly Sibley and Liu Na it was the same scenario. They were beat.... |

Top Seeds Justify Status to Win ITTF Pro Tour Under 21 Titles in London |

 Korea’s Kim Min Seok and Japan’s Jeon Ji Hee won the respective Under 21 Men’s and Under 21 Women’s Singles titles at the ITTF Pro Tour Grand Finals in London’s ExCel Arena early in the evening of Friday 24th November 2011.
At the final hurdle, Kim Min Seok, the no1 seed, beat Singapore’s Chen Feng in five games (11-4, 5-11, 11-7, 11-5, 11-6), before by a similar margin, Kasumi Ishikawa, also the top seed, overcame Kim Min Seok’s compatriot, Jeon Ji.... |

 Singapore’s 31 year old Wang Yuegu upset the seeding and kept the crowd totally engrossed, as she caused a sensation in the Women’s Singles quarter-finals at the ITTF Pro Tour Grand Finals in London’s ExCel Arena on the afternoon of Friday 25th November 2011.
In a gripping seven games duel she beat China’s Guo Yan, the top seed, to book her place in the penultimate round.
She won 11-8, 6-11, 11-8, 5-11, 8-11, 11-7, 13-11.
