The winner on both occasions that the ITTF Pro Tour Grand Finals were staged in Macao; 23 year old Ma Long repeated the success in the ExCel Arena on Sunday 27th November 2011
He beat Zhang Jike in the London final in five games (11-5, 9-11, 11-3, 11-4, 14-12) to secure the title for the third time in his career.

The reigning World champions Guo Yue and Li Xiaoxia thoroughly justified their top seeded place, by winning the Women’s Doubles title at the ITTF Pro Tour Grand Finals in London’s ExCel Arena on the evening of Sunday 27th November 2011.
They accounted for the Japanese pairing of Ai Fukuhara and Kasumi Ishikawa at the final hurdle (11-8, 11-5, 11-7, 11-5).

Hopes of a fourth major title of the year for Ding Ning sailed down the nearby River Thames on a cold dark London night on Saturday 26th November 2011.
