The Queen Elizabeth Stadium in Wan Chai (Hong Kong) hosted over 3000 spectators as Chinese athletes from Rio 2016 showed off their talents across a variety of fun games.
Hundreds of people queued up for Sunday’s first-come first-serve event hours before it had started, with one fan queuing from 11pm on Saturday evening, a full 17 hours in advance to ensure getting a seat.
One of the day’s games saw members from the Chinese Table Tennis team take on legendary Badminton player Lin Dan in an exhibition match of Table Tennis, featuring traditional Table Tennis bats, Badminton rackets and mobile phones.
London 2012 Women’s Singles champion Li Xiaoxia showed her Table Tennis skills using a mobile phone for a bat:
Two time Olympic Badminton champion Lin replicated Ma Long’s Rio 2016 ‘hands in the air’ celebration at one moment in the match:

Other events saw Zhang Mengxue, who won the gold medal for the 10 meter Air Pistol competition at Rio 2016, shoot at balloons with an air gun while standing on a vibrating exercise machine and a tug-of-war match between five Weightlifting champions and 50 children.
