Promoting the humanitarian cause, welcome guests in San Salvador

Winner of the Women’s Singles title at the 2010 African Championships staged in her native country of Cameroon, Sarah Hanffou alongside Julia Lewandowski were both recent welcome visitors in San Salvador, the capital of the small Central American country of El Salvador, to watch matters unfold in the latter stages of the ITTF Junior Circuit tournament.

They were present on behalf of Ping Sans Frontières, the organization that Sarah Hanffou founded several years ago.

During their visit they met Melecio Rivera, the President of the El Salvador Table Tennis Federation and Leonel Aguilar.

Media coverage

Notably local television TV Canal 21 and TV Canal TV interviewed the welcome guests; the major topic on the agenda being the promotion of social projects within the country.

It is anticipated that on Thursday 8^th and Friday 9^th September they will visit several of the 14 regions in the country that are part of the Nittaku Dream Building Project.
