After overcoming Wang Chuqin (11-8, 12-10, 10-12, 11-7) in the opening match of the fixture, Fan Zhendong was beaten by Liang Jinkun in four games (11-7, 12-10, 9-11, 13-11).
The remaining win for Bazhou were recorded by Liang Jinkun against Zhou Kai (11-8, 8-11, 11-7, 11-7) and in the doubles when, when Cheng Jingqi and Fan Shengpeng accounted for Xu Chenhao and Zhou Yu (11-9, 2-11, 11-7).

Shandong Weiqiao, the league leaders, won their 11th consecutive contest by beating Jiangsu; Shenzhen won their fourth venture of the campaign when overcoming Tianjin.
Lin Gaoyuan gave Shandong Weiqiao the ideal start against Jiangsu by beating Chuang Chih-Yuan (7-11, 11-9, 11-8, 7-11, 9-7), before Ma Long defeated Sun Wen (11-5, 11-8, 12-10) and a doubles contest concluded matters. Lin Gaoyuang and Xue Fei overcame Cai Wei and Kong Lingxuan in straight games (11-9, 11-6).
Similar Liu Jikang set Shenzhen on the road to victory by overcoming Fang Yinchi (13-11, 11-7, 12-10); Cui Qinglei followed with success against Ma Te (11-9, 11-6, 11-6), before Cui Qinglei and Ren Hao combined to win the doubles against Kong Longxuan and Cai Wei (11-9, 11-6).
