Venue for both events is the Dome of El Menzah; built in 1967, the arena seats 5,500 spectators and has been used extensively for volleyball events
A total of 15 events will comprise the ITTF-African Junior and Cadet Championships. Team events and singles events for both boys and girls will be held in the Youth, Junior and Cadet age group categories. In addition Junior Boys’ Doubles, Junior Girls’ Doubles and Junior Mixed Doubles competitions will be organised.
Overall, a total prize fund of US $5,600.00 is on offer.
Meanwhile, for the Buenos Aires 2018 Youth Olympic Games Continental Qualification tournament, the goal is to reserve a place in the South American city for the prestigious multi-sport gathering.
