With Fan Zhendong and Liu Shiwen packing their bags for Dusseldorf, the rest of the Chinese team are still fighting for a ticket to the Liebherr 2017 World Table Tennis Championships.

The athletes have been divided in to three groups, with the winners of each group moving in to a final round robin. They will then face-off until one player has two wins to their name.
