Unquestionably Lekeasha Johnson is looking forward to the expedition to Tunis and is well aware that she faces tough challenges.
She spoke to Olalekan Okusan, the ITTF-Africa Press Officer
My hope and aim is to at least make the top 10 in the Girls’ Singles and I expect nothing but to give it my best in all my matches.
Our determination as a team as well as our drive to be recognized on the African continent might land any one of us on the podium. I believe the continuous international training will put us on the same level with other African countries and we hope we can also be among the elite at the championship.
Going to the tournament, we believe we will gain experience and learn many different things and as a team; this championship could have an impact on us and our team spirit. I also think we can go far in Tunis, with right motivation and mind-set anything is possible.
