At the meeting the Future Events Working Group presented the World Championships and overall events structure; the group will prepare proposals for 2018 and submit to the Board of Directors.

Additionally, the ITTF Ethics Commission was fully established and approved the ITTF Code of Ethics which will come into effect on Saturday 1st July 2017.

Meanwhile, future editions of the ITTF World Junior Championships were awarded for2018 to Bendigo in Australia and for 2019 to Nakornratchasima in Thailand. Notably, the Bendigo bid was driven by ITTF-Oceania, empowered by the new Strategic Investment agreement with the International Table Tennis Federation.

Similarly the next three editions of the ITTF World Cadet Challenge were allocated to Tottori, Japan for 2018, to Poland for 2019 and for 2020 to Bangkok, Thailand.
