Featuring action from the Championship Division, Challenge Division and the Standard Division spectators will be treated to an action-packed schedule of table tennis in Luxembourg.
16 teams will contest both the Men’s Championship Division and the Women’s Championship Division. Teams positioned between 17th and 32nd positions will participate in the Challenge Division, while the remaining sides take part in the Standard Division.
The group draw will take place on Wednesday 12th July.
Last time out in the Men’s Championship Division there was a big upset as Austria lifted the trophy by defeating a powerful German side. Will there be another shock victory at the tournament in September?
Expect to see the continent’s strongest players featuring at the event, in a lineup which could include the likes of Dimitrij Ovtcharov, Simon Gauzy and Vladimir Samsonov.
Many of Europe’s brightest female stars will also be participating in Luxembourg.
Germany’s Han Ying, Shan Xiaona and Petissa Solja emerged victorious in the Women’s Championships Division final two years back in the Russian city of Ekaterinburg and the team will be vying to defend their title against a field of strong opposition but could another nation stun the defending champions?
Elizabeta Samara, Matilda Ekholm and Britt Eerland are just some of the names set to feature in Luxembourg so there are plenty of reasons to be excited.
