Inspired by his father, who was also a table tennis player, Jeoung Youngsik was first introduced to table tennis at the age of five.
Captivated with the sport from a young age, it didn’t take Jeoung Youngsik long to decide to turn professional – he told Adam Bobrow that he wanted to become a full-time player aged just six.
