Proceedings commence in Las Vegas Convention Center, North Hall (N3, N4) in Nevada on Wednesday 13th December with the four day United States Para Open, a Factor 40 tournament for ranking purposes.
Next on the agenda is the Buenos Aires 2018 Youth Olympic Games North American Continental Qualification Tournament from which one man and one woman will qualify to compete next year in the Argentine capital city.
The event will be held on Saturday 17th December, the day on which the United States Open commences, a tournament that underlines the fact table tennis is the sport for all. Incredibly some 98 events are listed. An overall prize fund of US$30,000 with the winner of each of the Men’s Singles and Women’s Singles events, departing US$ 5,000 the richer is the attractive sum on offer.
In addition for those with sights sets high World Ranking points are at stake, for those with lesser targets there is the buzz of competition, the enjoyment of sport and the camaraderie of chewing the cud with those of like mind. Hospitality packages are available.
