Speakers at the Conference will include Anders Hansen, the author of “Brain Power” who will address the positive effects regular exercise can have on brain functions.
Additionally Jörgen Persson, recently announced as an Honorary Doctor at Halmstad University will be present for a technical and tactical workshop, as will Mads Brink Hansen from Badminton Denmark, a member of the Danish Elite Sport Institute Team.
Further speakers will include Professor Tsung Min Hung and Irene Faber, from the ITTF Sports Science and Medical Committee, as well as Johan Falby, a former member of the Swedish national team alongside Jörgen Persson he is now a Sport Psychologist.
Anders Nelson, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Associate Professor in Educational Sciences at Halmstad University alongside Dr Miran Kondric, the Chair of the ITTF Sports Science and Medical Committee will share the closing statement.
Throughout, the Conference will be staged in English and will focus on three main areas: high performance, health and innovation, sports science.
The success of the conference depends to a great extent on participation in discussion, poster presentations and overall contributions; contributions are welcome.
Important dates for submissions are:
- Abstract Submission: Monday 5th February
- Paper Notification: on or before Friday 23rd February
- Deadline for receipt of manuscripts: Friday 16th March
