She has signed to play for the Storfors Club in the Swedish Elite Division, a competition that involves ten teams; she has decided to move abroad in order to test her abilities against European opposition.
It is a brave move; all her life she has represented the Al-Ahly Club in Cairo, the most powerful in the whole of Egypt with the likes of Nadeen El-Dawlatly alongside Omara Assar and El-Sayed Lashin being members.
“I am so excited about moving to Sweden to play because it was the club who wanted me for the second half of the season, so I decided to join them. I must admit that it has not been easy travelling between Sweden and Egypt to take part in the league. However, regardless of where I am playing I cannot leave my team, Ahly. It is their support that has made me what I am today. It is my childhood club.” Dina Meshref
Currently, Storfors is in first place in the Swedish Elite division.
