On the concluding day of play, Monday 19th March, he added to his collection. He beat Australia’s Ben Gould to win the Under 21 Men’s Singles title (8-11, 11-8, 11-6, 11-8).

Runners up spot for Ben Gould in both the Under 21 Men’s Team and Under 21 Men’s Singles event, it had been the same the previous day at the hands of colleague Xavier Dixon. It was a case of so near yet so far.

Xavier Dixon partnered Luke Cosgriff to claim the Under 21 Men’s Doubles title beating Rohan Dhooria and Ben Gould in the final (8-11, 17-15, 11-9, 11-3), having earlier in the day joined forces with Danni-Elle Townsend to secure the Under 21 Mixed Doubles top prize. At the final hurdle they overcame Ben Gould and Matilda Alexandersson (11-6, 11-8, 11-9).

Overall four silver medals for Ben Gould; for Dani-Elle Townsend, it was the exact opposite she departed with four gold medals.

Additional to the Under 21 Mixed Doubles, she won the Under 21 Women’s Singles event beating colleague Parleen Kaur in the final (11-6, 11-7,11-7), having on the penultimate day of play, partnered Parleen Kaur to Under 21 Women’s Doubles success; the pair beat colleagues Matilda Alexandersson and Chermaine Quah in the title decider (11-7, 11-6, 11-8)

Three days earlier Dani-Elle Townsend and Parleen Kaur had won the Under 21 Women’s Team title. At the final hurdle they overcame New Caledonia’s Solemn Danger and Lorie La three-nil in the final.
