Announced by the Chinese Table Tennis Association (CTTA), in order to deepen sports reform and ensure smooth preparation towards Tokyo 2020, the CTTA has appointed a working group for the purpose of reforming the ninth commission. The intentions of repeating the success enjoyed at the most recent three Olympic Games when China completed a clean sweep of gold is the aim.

The group leader is Liu Guoliang, the man who steered the Chinese Men’s Team to gold on the Olympic stage in Beijing, London and Rio de Janeiro.

The Deputy Leader is Lei Jun, Liu Yi, Liu Wei, Wang Liqin, Zhang Lei and Qin Zhiwei complete the group.
