Available in the four official languages of the International Table Tennis Federation (English, French, Spanish and Arabic), the course is designed to provide the skills and knowledge needed to promote improvement in sport administration; the target is to reach as many national associations as possible.
Part of the ITTF Developing National Associations (DNA) Programme, the course contains seven modules (governance, finance, working with partners, human resources, organizing competitions, marketing and promotion, values). It consists of 18 hours of study and requires 15 minute timed questions to be passed with at least an 80 per cent pass mark.
Now more than ever the Administration Course has its place in the DNA programme. The new categorization is based on needs, thus those in no.3 and no.4 are the national associations that need the greatest level of help to establish basic structures rather than competition support.
The first national association to have 10, 50 and then 100 people complete the course receives an equipment package from the partnership agreement with Stag.
