Organised jointly by the Singapore Table Tennis Association and the Singapore Sports School, the venue for the tournament will be the Singapore Sports School Auditorium; events being organized in the under 13 and under 17 age groups. Both individual and team competitions are included on the itinerary.

It is for the city state one of the most exciting events of the year and has attracted more than 190 players from nine national associations.

In addition to Singapore, entries have been received from Australia, China, Chinese Taipei, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, Vietnam and Singapore.

Notably, the event follows the annual national championships held from Thursday 14th to Saturday 23rd March; a wide range of age groups from under 9 years to veteran were organised, no less than 854 players competed.
