Coming from a family well associated with the sport of table tennis Kasumi Ishikawa is a winner of nine Women’s Singles titles on the ITTF World Tour and famously won the singles crown at the ITTF World Tour Grand Finals in 2014.
Kasumi Ishikawa has collected many a medal with her country including at the Olympic Games, World Team Championships and Team World Cup and two years back at the 2017 World Championships in Düsseldorf she partnered Maharu Yoshimura to Mixed Doubles glory!

A) Winning team medals at London 2012 and Rio 2016 and the Mixed Doubles gold medal at the 2017 World Championships

A) My home town, Yamaguchi because of the clean air – it makes me feel fresh.

A) No, not yet. But I’ve heard the hot spring in the city is famous.
Q) What message do you have for your fans who are thinking about travelling for the World Championships?
A) I will try to produce my best performance there so please come to the tournament to see me or watch me on TV. I’m looking forward to playing at the World Championships!
