It's time to take a look into the most mystical mind of all as Manika Batra takes centre stage in part six of 'Inside My Mind.'

“Use the surprise factor…”

Manika Batra will most certainly be looking to spring a surprise of two when she enters the arena at the upcoming Liebherr 2019 ITTF World Table Tennis Championships in Budapest later this month.

Announcing herself on the international stage at the 2011 Chile Open with a runner-up finish in the Under 21 Women’s Singles category, Manika Batra went on to establish herself as one of India’s finest players at senior level soon after.

Representing her country at the 2014 Commonwealth Games and 2014 Asian Games Manika Batra impressively took home three gold medals two years later at the 2016 South Asian Games but it was last year that the Indian star really began to show her true potential.

Enjoying a highly successful outing at the 2018 Commonwealth Games Manika Batra collected four medals on the Gold Coast including a historic Women’s Singles gold medal, becoming the first Indian to achieve the feat. Her success Down Under and her Mixed Doubles bronze at the 2018 Asian Games helped Manika Batra take home the 2018 Breakthrough Star award.
