2019 ITTF Star Awards draws to a close
Another ITTF Star Awards ceremony concludes in wonderful style. The ITTF places its thanks to everyone who was involved in making the glamorous event possible!

Three-time men’s singles World Champion and current Olympic Champion Ma Long is the 2019 Male Table Tennis Star. Congratulations to ‘The Dragon’!

The penultimate award of the evening is the 2019 Male Table Tennis Star award presented by DHS. Here are the nominees: Sweden’s Mattias Falck, China’s Xu Xin, China’s Ma Long and Chinese Taipei’s Lin Yun-Ju.

We’ve just heard that Hugo Calderano has been named as the best athlete in Brazil for 2019! The ITTF passes on its congratulations to the Brazilian star.

The International Table Tennis Federation announced the nominees for the 2019 ITTF Star Awards, with the winners about to crowned later today at the JW Marriott Zhengzhou, China.
Now in its seventh edition, the ITTF Star Awards represent the most prestigious individual prizes and a celebration of the best players’ and coaches’ international achievements over the course of 2019, as well as their popularity gained among table tennis fans around the world.

A historic event
The ITTF Star Awards is the official awards ceremony organised by the International Table Tennis Federation since 2013. It is the most prestigious award given to recognize, honor and celebrate the ‘Stars’ of table tennis, the athletes who have made table tennis their passion, career and life.
Athletes nominated for all awards will be invited to attend, as well as those who had qualified for the World Tour Grand Finals. It will be a night of glitz and glamour, as athletes dress up in their finest to attend the Awards Night.
