Weikert had come into close contact with a COVID-19 positive patient last week and therefore needed to quarantine until receiving the all clear on Sunday evening.

This had prevented him from flying to Doha, Qatar, to join senior officials for the 2020 ITTF AGM, which is taking place on Monday 28th September at 13:00 CEST.

Weikert will instead participate in the AGM from the safety of his office in Limburg, Germany.
