There are three player updates to report ahead of the upcoming #RESTART series, which will feature a trio of prestigious ITTF events next month in China:
- 2020 ITTF Women’s World Cup: 8 – 10 November 2020 (Weihai, China)
- 2020 ITTF Men’s World Cup: 13 – 15 November 2020 (Weihai, China)
- 2020 ITTF Finals: 19 – 22 November 2020 (Zhengzhou, China)
China’s Zhu Yuling has pulled out of the 2020 ITTF Women’s World Cup due to health issues and will be replaced by compatriot Sun Yingsha, who is also competing at the 2020 ITTF Finals.
Germany’s Han Ying is entering the action at the Women’s World Cup in place of Australia’s Melissa Tapper.

Meanwhile, Germany’s Patrick Franziska will be taking the place of Australia’s Heming Hu at the 2020 ITTF Men’s World Cup.
