The MoC was signed by the Presidents of both organisations, Mr. Jeton Beqiri from the Kosovo TTA, and Mr. Arben Meçaj of the Albania TTA. The Secretary Generals of both associations were also in attendance during the signing.

The Memorandum itself, will foresee a smooth cooperation between the two TTAs on establishing joint activities which will include having a joint league with best female and male teams, open tournaments, capacity building, etc.

Furthermore, productive seminars on ethic codes, anti-doping, anti-harassment, umpires, coaches and sport administrators will be held, alongside having joint training camps with experts focusing on Hopes, cadet and juniors tournaments and any other activity related to increasing the level of table tennis in the two countries.

At the ceremony which was was broadcasted by two biggest Albanian TV stations, the highest Sport Authorities from Ministries of Sport of both countries as well as the Presidents of both National Olympic Committees – Viron Bezhani (President of Albania Olympic Committee) and Besim Hasani (President of Kosovo Olympic Committee).

Joining them were also dignitaries like Arjon Konomi (Sport Director at Ministry of Sport of Republic of Albania) and Fitim Arifi (Sport Director at Ministry if Sport of the Republic of Kosovo).

They were duly interviewed by the press to instill a sense of positive outlook going into this new partnership.
