Announced earlier this week, the inaugural WTT Cup Finals Singapore is already gathering momentum and support from the local business community. World Table Tennis (WTT) is proud to announce three home-grown international brands – Pan Pacific Hotels Group, F&N and Speedoc – as local partners for the event.
WTT Cup Finals Singapore is debuting in Singapore from 4 – 7 December 2021 at the OCBC Arena. The world’s best women’s and men’s singles players, including the newly-crowned World Champions, will battle it out to be crowned season-ending champions.
From the moment they set foot into Singapore, the player will enjoy a premium experience provided by Pan Pacific Hotels Group, the Official Hotel Partner. With exquisite architectural design and interiors, comfortable and well-equipped facilities and services, the PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay is the perfect location for athletes so they can give their very best during the event.
Ms Cinn Tan, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer of Pan Pacific Hotels Group said, “Pan Pacific Hotels Group is excited to be the Official Hotel Group of WTT 2021 as this marks the return of one of the global sporting events to Singapore. As a key hospitality player in Singapore, we are honoured to play our part to host these world championship players at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay. The hotel has been a favourite among locals since it reopened as Singapore’s first “garden-in-a-hotel”. We are committed to taking care of them, from biophilic surrounds to farm-to-table culinary and wellness facilities, to ensure that they are in the best form for the competitions.”
As WTT puts the health of athletes above everything, Speedoc has been chosen to be the Official Medical Services Partner to deliver swift and reliable medical coverage during the event, with physiotherapists on-site to help with muscle recovery and medical staff to administer all the necessary COVID tests.
Dr Shravan Verma, CEO of Speedoc said: “We are proud to be the Official Medical Services Partner of the 2021 World Table Tennis Cup Finals. Speedoc is widely regarded in the market for our expertise in urgent care and we look forward to serving the needs of professional sportsmen and sportswomen. We are excited to play a part in Singapore resuming its status as the thriving destination for high level sporting events internationally.”
As Singapore’s No.1 isotonic drink, 100PLUS has been the isotonic drink of choice for athletes and individuals in pursuit of an active lifestyle at many major sport events in Singapore.
Jennifer See, Managing Director, F&N Foods Pte Ltd said,”100PLUS is delighted to welcome Olympic champions Chen Meng, Fan Zhendong, Singapore’s own Feng Tianwei and the world’s top table tennis players to the first-ever WTT Cup Finals held in Singapore. 100PLUS is a proud advocate of sports development and has supported our local Singapore Table Tennis Association for more than a decade. We are honoured to be a part of the WTT Cup and we look forward to supporting world class players outdo themselves at the finals.”
On the immense support from the local companies, Raphael Chen, Head of Brand Partnerships Sales (APAC), said: “WTT is thrilled to finally have one of the most prestigious international table tennis events here in Singapore and the 2021 WTT Cup Finals marks a start of something new for the table tennis scene here. Together with the support of home-grown international brands, we hope to make Singapore the next Table Tennis tourism destination. We look forward to announcing more events in Singapore and to engage more local brands.”
