An overall quota limit of 10,500 athletes competing in 328 events, involving 32 sports; a decrease of 614 quota places; such are the figures for Paris.

However, there is no change to table tennis, the total number of players and the events remain the same.

Overall, 172 players, 86 men and 86 women, five events forming the schedule: men’s singles, women’s singles, mixed doubles, men’s team and women’s team.

Venue for the table tennis competition is the South Paris Arena 4; the table tennis events scheduled to commence on Saturday 27^th July; with the first final on Tuesday 30^th July.
