China’s Deng Yaping has the perfect Olympic Games record, she played in 1992 in Barcelona and four years later in Atlanta; on both occasions she won the women’s singles and, partnering Qiao Hong, the women’s doubles.

Soon after Atlanta, when studying at Nottingham University in England, she reflected on her Olympic Games successes.
