She competed in the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, later in the year she was on duty at the ITTF World Team Championships Finals in Chengdu, Danisha Patel is South Africa’s leading female player.

However, there is more to the 29-year-old than her ability to lay racket on ball.

Attending the University of Johannesburg, she gained a B.Sc. in Sport Science Biokinetics and a B.A. Honours in Biokinetics; the profession being recognised by and registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa. Moreover, Danisha has considerable experience, she works at the Randburg Virgin Active Gym and has been practising for over seven years.
