In a thrilling showdown, Pucar triumphs over Chuang Chih-Yuan with a score of 3-1 (8-11, 11-5, 11-8, 11-4), while also amassing an impressive 41 points. With one more match remaining in Group 6, Pucar finds himself in a highly advantageous position, having secured 5 games and accumulated a total of 82 points. In this new playing system where every point is crucial, tomorrow’s match between Chuang and Lin Gaoyuan will determine who qualifies for Stage 2. Lin must secure four games to avoid being determined by point countback.


An Jaehyun claims another draw result

Simon Gauzy secures final win 3-1 in group 9

Zhang accumulated a total of 44 points during the match, bringing her current total to 69 points. In the new playing system, where every point holds significant weight, Zhang now finds herself in an advantageous position, regardless of the outcome of the last group match tomorrow.


Edward Ly and Jia Yuan kick off Day 2 with early morning victories
