The Under-15 Mixed Doubles final saw China’s Li and Yao face off against Korea Republic’s Lee and Choi in an enthralling encounter. After a spirited start from the Korean pair who claimed the opening game, the Chinese duo demonstrated their remarkable skill and composure. They orchestrated a magnificent turnaround, claiming three consecutive games with increasing confidence to secure a 3-1 victory (6-11, 11-3, 11-2, 11-7).
Meanwhile, in the final match of the day, the Under-19 Mixed Doubles title was decided between China’s Huang and Zong and Korea Republic’s Oh and Park. The match delivered moments of sheer brilliance and determination from both pairs. Despite a valiant effort from the Korean duo that forced the match to four games, China’s partnership proved too strong, securing victory with scores of 11-8, 9-11, 11-5, 11-4.
