Welcome to our Hopes Program
The Hopes Program is the ITTF Sports Development department’s talent identification program, which unites players and coaches from across the globe. It continues to be the building block of the ITTF High Performance pathway, which targets global reach and overall growth of table tennis.
The Hopes Program is going back to a one-year cycle in 2025, with national, continental, and world stages for U12 players (born in or after 2013). National Hopes Weeks will be a prerequisite for qualification to the continental stage, which will in turn serve as a qualifier to the global stage. Member Associations are encouraged to hold their national talent identification activities early in the year and to inform ITTF of their intention to take part in the Hopes program. An activation form will be available, and ITTF Participation Officers will be able to guide on implementation of a national talent identification activity.
